To make up for the rainout in February, we're doing a "2-for-1" Supercharger Meetup at the two newest Chula Vista Superchargers. The latest San Diego Supercharger to open is next to Speed Circuit, so we're making it a full event by going for lunch and a spin at the track!
We'll start the day at the Telegraph Canyon Road Superchargers (505 Telegraph Canyon Rd) and share the Tesla love starting at 10am. The location has a Yum Yum Donuts and a Starbucks if anyone is hungry. From there we will caravan up the road to the next location.
The Superchargers at Showroom Place just opened on February 21st. Here we will again network, ask questions and share information. Other topics will include upcoming road trip opportunities.
The Showroom Place location has a few restaurants including the Search Bar. They have Burgers, Tacos, Burritos, Pastas, Fish & Chips, and Sandwiches; $12-$22. Here we can continue our conversations over lunch. Please RSVP below so we can tell the restaurant how many to expect.
Speed Circuit is giving us a special group (minimum 8 racers) discount so that a two-race package will be about $40 per racer. A race (usually 15-20 laps) takes about 10 minutes with about 15 minutes between races. Unfortunately, they use ICE cars but some of us may miss the noise and smell😂. Other packages are available for those that want to race more or take advantage of the Thrill Park or Rope Course. Please RSVP below so we have a reasonably firm headcount and can lock in a time slot. Walk-ins may be possible if our races still have space available.
