High Performance Wheels

Wheels play an important part in transferring ludicrous torque into forward motion. Why don’t the spokes snap? What keeps the tire from sliding around the rim? How can we balance handling and comfort?

HRE designs and manufactures top-of-the-line performance wheels right here in San Diego County. Greg Lenac of HRE gave us an impromptu briefing about wheels at our October meeting. He also said HRE would be happy to host a meeting and provide a factory tour.

Come learn how wheels are designed and made. There is a lot of science between minimizing weight and surviving the imposed forces. This is a tech session not to be missed and a chance for October attendees to refresh their knowledge and get answers to lingering questions.

HRE will be providing light hors d'ouvres, beer/wine, as well as gift bags to those attending.
