Dieter-Heinz Kijora talked about HG Motorsports and their racing heritage. Click
here for a video describing the brand. Most work is on ICE cars but they do provide specialty wheels for Teslas and can do custom alignment. In fact they put one attendee's car on the rack to read its details. This led into a discussion of wheels.
This flowed into more details about wheels by Greg Lenac of
HRE Wheels who explained about how stock wheels are cast and custom wheels are forged, etc. He also said that HRE would be glad to host a club meeting at their factory headquarters in Vista.
Wes Walz of
Elite Finish Detailing finished out the evening's presentations talking about paint correction, wraps and coatings. He said that he would be glad to host a club meeting sometime after the first of the year.
Unfortunately
Unplugged Performance could not make it since their resources were committed to the
Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.
La Jolla Audio could not make it either. However there was plenty to talk about without them.
The meeting wrapped up with David introducing the new steering committee that will be taking on the club management duties.
