Backroad Drive and Potluck Picnic
Join fellow Tesla owners for a ride via back roads to the Guajome Regional Park in Oceanside where we will have a potluck picnic. The ride will take us along Old Highway 395. Then we will pass horse corrals and recently planted vineyards of Bonsall.

I15 North to Deer Springs/Mountain Meadows Road exit
Right at the exit ramp
Left/North on Champagne Blvd/Old 395
Left/West on Camino del Rey to CA-76
Left/West on CA-76 to Guajome Lake Road
Left/South on Guajome Lake Road to park entrance on Right
Parking is available in a lot on the right as soon as you turn left onto Guajome Lake Road. Fee is $3 (bring cash). If that lot is full, continue South on Guajome Lake Road. Turn right at the back gate/exit and park in the dirt lot on the left of the exit road. Limited street parking is also available in that area.

The picnic area has limited tables and benches, so bring folding chairs if possible. Rest rooms are available. Leashed dogs are allowed. Alcoholic beverages are permitted providing the alcohol content does not exceed 20%.
The Club will provide dishes, glasses, utensils, napkins, ice and water. Members should bring a dish (with serving utensil) to share, and a beverage of their choice.
Old Mission San Luis Rey is four miles west of Guajome Park on CA-76 - museum and tours.
The Deer Park Winery and Car Museum with over 100 convertibles is open till 5. It is on On Old Highway 395 (we pass it on the drive to the picnic).
The Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum is two miles south of the park on Route S14. It displays examples of mechanical ingenuity and crafts associated with the early days of the American farm and rural community.
